GMetrix is a great training course for earning your Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification. In fact, many students are very successful with GMetrix and the MOS certification.

But some students need more.

Some students find that they misunderstand the written explanations. Some find that they understand what to do, but they can't remember later which steps to follow to get the correct answer again. Many students have no trouble with GMetrix, but are much more comfortable with a system that addresses their individual learning style.

This is the supplement for those students.

In this course, I go through every GMetrix question in PowerPoint 2016 Skill Review 1. For every question, I'll explain:

• How to answer that question correctly, step-by-step
• How you might use that skill in the real world
• Helpful tips to remember the steps on the certification test
• Other methods that also work, if they're available

I also throw in lots of encouragement and a few corny jokes along the way!

MOS Certification is challenging, but it doesn't have to be daunting. For middle and high school students, this video course can be the difference between success and giving up. That's why I imagine I'm doing 1-on-1 coaching with one of my own students in every video here.

For teachers, this course can help make your class the type of class you enjoy teaching, where students can succeed at their own pace and help each other succeed. THIS COURSE WILL NOT REPLACE A GREAT TEACHER! In fact, as a classroom teacher myself, I'll never design or create a course to replace teachers. It doesn't fit my style and I wouldn't enjoy teaching that way. I designed these courses as a supplement for my own class, to allow me to focus on keeping students motivated and giving individual attention where it's needed.

Please don't miss this point: I USE THIS COURSE IN MY OWN CLASSROOM. I would never eat at a restaurant where the chef wouldn't eat, and I don't trust lessons that teachers don't use in their classes.
